Only improvements we will likely see is the brand new engine enhancing shadows, shadows, colors, particle effects and casting them from Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta the outfits. You may have a look how exactly applying better shadows and colors can enhance older equipment by assessing ReShade screenshots. Collabs that have had their cosmetics removed nevertheless have their resources exist on the game so those will probably still be available for jp players. Only improvements we will likely see is the new engine enhancing shadows, shadows, colors, particle effects and projecting them against the outfits. You may take a look how just applying better shadows and colors can improve old equipment by checking ReShade screenshots.

I don't understand this type of mentality. Do you play these game because they're fun to playwith? Or do you perform them with the concept that it's just"worth it" if these 100s of hours are carried over like it is some sort of investment? I read things on the web like this all of the time and it is so odd to me. It's a new game that brings new experiences to be appreciated. NG being declared does not somehow negate the fun of currently playing PSO2. NG is slated to come out in 2021, that could be over a year from now. That's so much time to enjoy PSO2.

Ummm we only got the game in NA a number people didn't play on JPN servers this entire time and now we're being told any progress we make in the variant we just got will be for nothing if you would like to play with the new game. Some people are also spending some cash in this version of the game. They should have just never published this current version in NA and just waited until 2021 for this one. I would have never even started playing if I understood a brand new version of a live service match was coming out. This is the reason Sega is a third party dev today rather than hardware manufacturer. They seriously take one step forward and 2 steps back all of the time and it's frustrating. The life cycle for NA is starting so that it will not make sense in any way. Unless this game is more like a single player experience, then it might make sense. What's the purpose of this game? This is key information.

I mean, for a lot of us this game is no more than a quick log in, 5 minute every day, and then adapting idle till UQ, so this (maybe not ) new game will not really interfere with what some of us are already doing lol I enjoy this game enough that I will probably keep playing with it even after NGS launches, particularly if they're intent on encouraging it until 2022. Also the jury is still out on how makeup and other jump things will be managed outside of their obscure statement. Makeup, high quality, and expansions are all character bound but we do not know whether they'll carry over, but if they do then it won't be a total waste of buy PSO2 Meseta cash.
