If any trouble arises during your Wavlink AC1200 setup, a reset is the most common way to give yourself a fresh start and solve some basic glitches. To reset the Wavlink AC1200 repeater, find the reset button, which is usually a hole on the back or bottom of the device.

Then press the reset button using a paperclip or a pin for about 10 seconds until you see the LEDs flicker or change color. That is the indication that the device is restoring to factory defaults. After resetting, the Wavlink AC1200 device will go into reboot mode, which will clear out all previous configurations and allow for the Wavlink AC1200 setup from scratch.

Resetting is usually beneficial if the repeater refuses to connect to your router or if you happen to forget your login credentials. Once done, you can follow the setup guide to reconnect and fast-track Wi-Fi optimization.
