The setup was encountering issues? Often, a reset will clear a setup glitch and put the network back on track. This is how you reset your Netgear Orbi router during setup.

Locate the small reset button on the back of your Orbi router. Using a paperclip or pin, press and hold the button for about 10 seconds until the power LED starts blinking. This indicates that the router is now resetting itself to factory default settings.

Once reset, your Netgear Orbi router will go through a reboot and have all previous configurations wiped out to allow for a fresh start. Once it has rebooted, you may either connect your device through the Orbi default Wi-Fi or with an Ethernet cable and continue with the Netgear Orbi setup.

It is a pretty straightforward step to take if faced with connectivity or login issues during setup. Remember to save your custom settings after you are finished with the setup.
