A combo of PSO2's troublesome launcher and PSO2 Meseta problems with the Windows Store led to a load of problems with the first PC release. PSO2 Tweaker -- the fan-made tool that players were using to play with the Japanese release for ages -- was upgraded to help alleviate the issues, but hopefully that will be unnecessary.

The initiation of the Steam webpage comes only a few days after the Xbox Games Showcase, where Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis made its introduction as a modernised, updated version of PSO2 which will operate alongside the first MMORPG.

Phantasy Star Online 2's next big update is coming in August, and there's battleships in it for some reason

Considering that Phantasy Star Online 2 launched on PC at the West last month, I have played more than 50 hours --and even I can not let you know what the hell is going on in the trailer for its upcoming August update. I am not even talking about, for example, a cool space battleship.

That's predictably baffling for PSO2, which was around in Japan for more than years but only recently received an English localization. People who've played the Japanese version probably understand what's occurring here, however, the NA version is several upgrades behind, and its narrative is pretty ridiculous anyway so I'm not certain if the reason why these space explorers are battling a battleship off the coast of Japan makes sense.

Despite this and the cluttered launch on the Windows shop, I'm really enjoying PSO2's Monster Hunter-esque activity and intense amount of loot. However, PSO2 is bizarre. At this time, for instance, the most important hub is decked out with giant statues of Sonic and Knuckles, and cheap meseta pso2 despite being a game about humans exploring uncharted planets, among the levels it is possible to research is the Japanese version is Las Vegas. What I'm saying is that a bunch of mechs fighting a WW2-era battleship feels perfectly ordinary --and it does not really matter anyway since you don't play PSO2 for the story. You play it to your over-the-top combat and excellent boss battles.
